LACALIANA Wins World Series!
The LACALIANA Angels have captured the 2018 World Series (P.B. Cup) over the the NY Mets as these two clubs battled it out for the sixth time in the Finals of Strat-O-Matic, now 3-3 as the Angels win their first title since 2013.
A strange year, a strange new season upon us - the Cup played online as the new season will begin also. Good luck to everyone & below, the recap from the Manager of the champion Angels.

Finally we did this virtual and it worked out ok...
Bell and I have faced each other a ton for WS and he has gotten the better of me so far.
GAME 1: Nola and Sale - Limited anything as feeling each other out. Only run is Story with a solo shot, 1-0 Angels.
GAME 2: Folty and Lopez - 5 run lead for me didn't last, Jram with the big blast, the fucker O'Hearn hits one to make it close but I close it 6-5
GAME 3: Degrom and Williams - Early lead for Bell but I try to fight back but come up short. 5-3 Mets
GAME 4: Porkshop and Nola - 10 hits and walks combined in this game - Seems like a mismatch but Bell uses his bullpen to the extreme (next inning Bobo was coming in) and keeps it close until the 10th when Story homers to win it
GAME 5: Elfin and Morton - which didn't last long as both starters were out early and left it to relief to finish off. Even until the 8th when I had 4 Ballpark homers and hit 2 of them, Jram with his 2nd and JD finally hit his first. 4-1 final.
Angels win 4-1
Lots of fun. Perez hit into 10 double plays and we probably hit 30 ballpark effect singles (1 in both parks and never hit one). Carmargo is a great SS btw.
