The LACALIANA Angels have become champions for the second straight year, becoming the only ballclub to win online, both years in existence. Coincidence? Or just an innocent accident?

Winning the P.B. Cup this time meant a series that would go the full seven games, against the very team in the final week of the season, battled for the Bye into these Finals. Yet another season online, this season's recap below, once more from the Manager of the champion Angels.

Darby asked me to write this (you did win) so sorry (site edits in parenthesis)

My favorite part of this event is to go to a local bar and go over my team one last time. Since Oakville opened Tuesday, I was able too (to). Darby had a great team. One of the best I've seen. And he learned over the year how to play it. Benching Springer was crazy but the right move. Loved how he adapted. Scott taught him well. Or Arianna maybe.

Game 1 - Grienke vs Lynn - Greikster gets hit hard and fast, not on his card but 8-0 after 4. Why bother so he wins 10-1.

Game 2 - Morton vs Gray - Finally start hitting. Trout with 2, Conforto, Grandal, Moncada, piece of cake, tied 1-1.

Game 3 - Cole (finally rested) vs. Minor - 8 HR in this game - I pull my leftie in the 3rd to switch his lineup around but he scores on my bullpen again late to tie in the 9th and win in the 10th 7-6  up 2-1

Game 4 - Lynn vs Greinke - A couple of HRs to get a lead, no hits on Grienke finally till I drop him then the fucker hits my bullpen again with Alonso and Kepler - hits a 3 run shot in the bottom of 9th to take it 10-8.

So 3-1 for digby…

Game 5 - I'm almost giving up, but Trout tells me otherwise. Score 8 on shit rolls in the 1st. I get 2 baserunners after but hold on to a 8-7 win - As I told you my bullpen was brutal. (Later told there were two early salamis and a fight back, then a loss by a run with a potential choice off the bench may have changed this outcome)

Game 6 - Trout leads off with a HR, then load bases and end up getting 5 then 3 more later. Easy 10-5 win.

Game 7 - Greinke vs Cole - ace vs ace - big guy vs big guy - 1st inning - 4 runs - 2nd - 4 runs - 3rd inning 2 runs - keeps up like this till 7th as I pinch hit for Grandal with Realmuto who hits a go ahead HR - of course Sanchez ties it (his 5th) (…) Goes to the 9th where Acuna or Baez ties it (again?), (yet we win it?) takes the lead in the 10th - Story on, 2 out, no one left to pinch hit, Realmuto hits a 1-15 HR and connects to win it.

MVP (?) - trout. 7 HR and always OB (on-base). Realmuto was clutch (like a red-light stripper, always on)
